How to install
- Download Blog Happens Theme 2.0.2 by Click Here
- Go to Admin > Appearance > Add New Themes > Upload, and upload zip file to website.
- Activate the theme through the ‘Appearance -> Themes’ menu in WordPress
- Done, enjoy!
Setting Colors and Background
- Go to Admin > Appearance > Theme Options
- Upload avatar photo / background and Change colors
Recommended Setting & Writing
- This theme offers 2 content width options. You should go to Setting -> Media to correct the picture size.
- 490px (Picture 480px and caption text)
- 610px (Picture 600px and caption text)
- This theme will use “small introduction of each post” from Excerpt. Please fill the Except box when you write post.
- This theme offers Page Template that can show posts from category you want.
- Go to Page, in Template choose Show Posts from Category
- Add Custom Field, Name: show-category, Value: (category name)

Is it possible (or difficult) to add a graphic/photo above the columns, right across the width of the two columns? I would do it with round corners to match your columns.

Nice theme. Does it work with the latest version of WordPress?
I was just testing your theme out and when I posted a comment I was directed to an error page even though the comment did go through. Any idea what might cause that? And also, would you be available to customize this theme a bit?

This theme works with the latest version of WordPress (Now is 2.7.1 but should work with 2.8, too) but not ready for the newest Get-The-Image plugin – then you should not update the plugin for now. I will launch the new release that wider than this and has more options. You can see live theme at my Thai blog, iMenn.com
About the error page, I’ve never found that. I suggest to change to another theme and try again. If the problem still exists, May be because of your host setting. You can print screen that page and send it to me.

thanks for the quick reply. something in the theme (or maybe its the plugin you referenced) is adding a / to the output when i try to post a comment. the end of the address shows up like this:
http://www.mysite.com/article//comment-page-1#comment-12
you see? two slashes instead of one slash. when i manually take out one slash i am directed to the posted comment. i would change the theme (and i may still have to) but i’ve already heavily altered it. in fact, this could be something i’ve done to the theme.
anyway, i’m still testing the theme. and if you’re busy – no worries, i can pay someone else to make some changes. i look forward to the new theme. thanks for the help.

Thank you very much for your test. In your case, please check your setting in WordPress Admin -> Setting -> General you will see this screen.
Please check that you don’t put “/” (Slash) in the end of your WordPress Address (URL). It will cause error for most themes.
ah ha! it was the permalinks settings. i had left an extra / when i changed the permalinks. thanks!
